adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience - Ralph Waldo Emerson

~ My art practice is informed by a recognition of a womans’ existence and the transitions through which we struggle, as we confront the natural geographies that surround us. As a midwife, I cling to the art I see in the everyday, the rituals, trials and tribulations of the maternal/baby dyad.

Born and raised on Vancouver Island, these soaked Northwest cedars, firs, hemlocks, and the sea salt spray leads the way to all I am inspired by. I seek to make the spiritual…tangible.
